The filly Bellition, which last ran at Riccarton on April 16, has worked well since arriving in Australia and has been well backed in the one-mlle Granville Handicap. Bellitlon’s main opposition is likely to come from Forest Lass and the last-start winner. Court Stepper.

Ski was near last when his stablemate, Bastille, won his first race in Australia at Flemington last Saturday, but is tipped to Improve in today's Winter Handicap, one mile. The Sabaean five-year-old will have a tough task to beat the last start winners, Snowstream Lass and Conservatory. No Trip For Peterman (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. Th« top three-year-old, Peterman, is unlikely to fulfil engagements in Melbourne in the spring. He is high on the betting charts for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups. His owner, Mr F. C. Johnstone, said that although Peterman was coming to form well It was most unlikely that he would go to Melbourne. His trainer, W. C. Winder, is very pleased with Peterman’s work since he resumed in the stable three or four weeks ago. Peterman suffered a severe hip injury at Trentham in March.
