(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, July 8. Six men aged more than 50 married teenage brides during 1965, according to the Commonwealth Statistician, Mr K. Archer. The figures issued today by Mr Archer showed that one man over the age of 50 married a girl of 16 and another a girl of 17. Two other men over the 50 mark married 18-

year-old girls and two married girls of 19. A woman over the age of 45 married a man of 21 while one woman aged between 40 and 44 married a 19-year-old youth.

There were 17 brides aged 14 and 90 aged 15 during 1965. One 14-year-old bride married a man of 25 while one of the 15-year-old brides married a man in the 35 to 39 age group.
