Man Severely Injured
Samuel Thomas Bartie, aged 66, of 7 Morris street, Lincoln, suffered severe head and leg injuries when a car and the motor-scooter he was on collided on the Prebble-ton-Lincoln highway about 8.10 a.m. yesterday. Mr Bartie was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Last evening, his condition was reported to be still critical.
