Amalgamation
It was quite evident that there was a move afoot to get many of the smaller counties amalgamated, said Cr. W. S. L. Mcßae, reporting to the Wairewa County Council vesterday on the recent conference of the Counties’ Association. He would not like to say that there would be force, but in all cases meni tinned at the conference, amalgation had been highly profitable to all concerned.
