VISIT TO PAKISTAN

The Chinese Premier, Mr Chou En-lai will arrive in Rawalpindi today for talks with President Ayub Khan amid rumours that Pakistan is swinging to the West The Chinese leader’s visit on his way home from Rumania and Albania comes after the retirement 10 days ago of the pro-Chinese Foreign Minister (Mr All Bhutto) on what was officially described as sick leave. Mr Chou is expected to investigate the implications of the reported policy split which, according to some foreign observers in Rawalpindi. was the real reason for the release of Mr Bhutto.
