First Moves Of U.K. Troops (N.Z.P. A. -Reuter—Copyright! ADEN, June 28. The British Middle East Command yesterday announced the first step in plans to withdraw its forces from South Arabia. It said no more British service families would arrive In Aden after the end of the year, and the number of servicemen and their families would be reduced in preparation for the time when British forces leave Aden. This is the first official announcement of the British withdrawal plan from the area which has been promised independence by 1968. There are more than 20,000 Britons here. This figure includes between 8000 and 9000 dependants who arrive and leave at a rate of about 500 a month.
