Rain Ruins Women’s Game
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A ) BIRMINGHAM. Only an hour’s play was possible in the scheduled two-dav women’s cricket match between New Zealand and the Midlands, at Wolverhampton. The game was abandoned on Saturday after heavy rain the previous day had made the field very heavy and more rain made further play Impossible. In the short time available New Zealand scored 26 for threa wickets.
