Lady Pitt, won the 118.875-doltar Coach'ng Club American Oaks, richest event on the New York racing calendar for three-year-oCd fillies, in a driving finish at Aqueduct Racecourse on Saturday. W. Blum rode Lady Pitt to a length victory over Gentle Rain after taking the lead coming into the straight. But Gentle Rain was disqualified for interference and placed fourth by the stewards. Pride’s Profile was promoted to sedond and Help On The Way to third in the official finish. The winner, a daughter of Sword Dancer owned by Mr T. Eazor of Pittsburgh, ran the 1« furlongs in 2mln Ssec on a fact track.
