Negro Hit By Shot (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CLEVELAND, June 26. One man was wounded by a shotgun blast and four teen-agers were arrested for rock-throw-ing in separate incidents last night in Cleveland’s tense East Side slums. Hundreds of Negroes milled about the hot, humid streets. Six “Molotov cocktails” were hurled into an intersection but did no damage in the troubled area, which erupted into violence on Thursday night when a 10-year-old Negro boy was wounded by a white motorist Police said that Alphonso Henry, aged 26, was grazed in the face by shotgun pellets. His assailant fled to a nearby apartment, then telephoned police to surrender. Henry was treated at hospital but stormed out after 1 tearing off his bandages.
