Coin Designs
Sir, —I agree entirely with Eric John Doudney, and am still at a loss to understand why, with several fine New Zealand sculptors to choose from, no sculptor was invited to assist on the committee. I hope there is still time to consider the designs chosen by the committee. I sympathise with the task of the three artist members of the committee, and hope they can persuade the Cabinet to accept at least some of the fine designs they have recommended.—Yours, etc., RIA BANCROFT. June 24, 1966.
