Mr J. F. More, chief inspector, Ministry of Works, will retire on June 30 after 42 years In the Public Service. He has been chief inspector for the last four years, and joined the Public Service in 1924. In 1946 he transferred from the Mines Department to the Audit Office, and was appointed assistant chief inspector, Ministry of Works, in 1948. In 1953 he was district administrative officer for Canterbury in Christchurch.
