Co-ordination Praised

Constable B. W. Thomas, secretary of the police mountain search and rescue co-ordination committee, said yesterday that the coordination was such that the rescue teams on the mountain appeared to be as well supported and provided with equipment as a full-scale Everest expedition. Mr B. Hearfield, leader of the Crow neve high level party said that the whole support was “marvellous." When they set up their camp at 7000 ft they had a complete change of dry clothing. The wet and cold were two of the worst problems they had to face.
