Studd Going To Kenya

(N.Z. Press Association I

WELLINGTON

The New Zealand three mile champion, I. S. Studd, will fly to Kenya today with W. D. Baillie to compete in the Kenya national track and field championships from July 1-2. Studd replaces the injured J. L. Davies and will probably compete over three miles or 5000 metres.

Baillie will travel to Europe after the meeting, but Studd will return to New Zealand. He has been selected to run for New Zealand in the three miles at the Empire Games in Jamaica in August.
