Three Hurt On Roads

Three persons were treated at Christchurch Hospital after suffering minor injuries in road accidents yesterday. A 13-year-old girl, Penelope Carlisle, of 31 Cholmondeley avenue, suffered leg injuries when her bicycle was hit by a car at the comer of Bealey avenue and Victoria street, about 6.25 p.m. Another cyclist, Timothy Nolan, of 13 Arnst place, was hit by a car at the corner of Worcester and Barbadoes streets. He also suffered leg injuries. A pedestrian, Grant John Smith, of 39 Blake street, suffered injuries to the left hip when he was hit by a truck in Cathedral square about 10.30 a.m.
