Lucky Streak Retired
"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Lucky Streak, which finished her racing career on a winning note in the Farewell Hack Mile at Oamaru on Tuesday at odds of 30 to 1, will be mated with Mellay. half-brother to the Derby winner, Charlottown, in the spring. The Lucky Bag mare was raced by Messrs A. and W. McLean, of Gore, who purchased her as a yearling for SOOgns at the dispersal sale of the late Mr K. Austin in 1960. She was trained by H. A. Anderton.
