Candidates Unopposed

(N.Z. Press Association? WELLINGTON, July 22. The following candidates for the Meat and Wool Boards’* Electoral Committee have been elected unopposed:— North Canterbury: Mr R. E. Hiatt (Culverden). Canterbury-Westland: Mr W. N. G. Dunlop (Christchurch). South Canterbury: Mr W. B. Trottet (Fairlie).

North Otago: Mr W. Malcolm (Oamaru).

Postal ballots will be held In the following electoral districts where nominations exceed the number of delegates required: Marlborough-Nelson (one delegate required): Mr P. Cowin (Nelson), Mr G. F. L. Dillon (Blenheim).

Ashburton (one delegate required): Mr E. Croy (Ashburton), Mr T. P. Lowe (Ashbur ton).

Nominations for two producers’ representatives on the Meat Board to be elected at the board's annual meeting are: Messrs H. M. Linklatei (Palmerston North), C. N. Mackenzie (Christchurch). R. J. McLean (Invercargill), T. G. McNab (Balclutha), P. McNeMe (Shannon). E. Downes Roberts (Middlemarch). T. A. Thompson (slitting member) (Middlemarch), A. C. Wright (Dunsandel).

Mr L. P. Chapman (Mount Somers) has been re-elected unopposed to the Wool Board.
