SALISBURY, June 23.
The leader of Rhodesia’s tiny Opposition party stalked from Parliament yesterday in protest against the officer administering the Government, Mr Dupont, reading the opening speech from the throne. The leader of the 13-mem-ber United People’s Party, Mr Chipunza, said that he did not accept Mr Dupont as the representative of the Queen. “But our position does not imply non-recognition of the Government as such,” he said.
