SYDNEY, June 22

The Australian Prime Minister, Mr Harold Holt, will discuss with the leader of the Federal Opposition, Mr Arthur Calwell, security precautions for leading Australian public figures.

Senior Government , and Opposition members of Parliament will also take part in the talks. Mr Holt said at

review of demonstrations at political meetings, he said. However, he did not think the answer lay in posting additional police or security guards in public hall Instead. he said, the answer lay with the whole community, which must decide when demonstrations passed beyond the normal bounds to a position of harassment and intimidation. The Prime Minister said Australians had zealously guarded the right to speak freely at political meetings, whether they criticised or applauded, and it was important that this right should be continued. Mr Holt was speaking to about 80 delegates from all parts of Australia attending a Federal rural conventioni in Wagga.
