Big Squash Entry
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND The huge entry of 204 for the North Island squash rackets championships next week will force the North Shore club to hold some matches on outside courts. The tournament will consist of eight grades for men and five for women, junior boys’ and junior girls’ championships and a women’s veterans’ competition. Heading the men’s entry are the four seeded players, P. Dibley (Remuera), J. Stevens (Remuera), J. Walker (Hamilton), and J. Isaacs (Mitchell Park). The four women seeds are Miss P. Mills (Hamilton), Miss C. Fleming (Eden and Epsom), Mrs J. Legg (Henderson), and Mrs H. Corporaal (Remuera).
