Radios Found In Ship
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 22. Binoculars and transistor radios worth about £350 were seized by Customs officers when they searched the freighter Port Montreal at Auckland today. The 16 radios and nine pairs of binoculars were hidden in the engine-room. The search of the ship will continue tomorrow.
Pakistan Seeks Trade.—A Pakistan trade team is touring Middle East countries in a bid to obtain vitally needed foreign currency by means of increased exports. It will hold business promotion talks in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Abu Dhabi in the Persian Gulf.—Reuter.
