Salvation Army Choral Groups

Mr W. Hawkey, organist at the Durham Street Methodist Church, will be the guest conductor at a choral week-end at. the Salvation Army Citadel next week-end. Mr Hawkey’s brother, Mr B. Hawkey, is the Salvation Army City Corps pianist. Both the city and Sydenham singing groups will take part The singers will be led by the City Corps singing leader, Mr E. Danholt, and the preacher will be Cadet L. Rive, of the Hornby Corpe, who later thia year will take up missionary work in Africa.
