Efforts Made By Canada (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copyright) OTTAWA, June 22. American and British officials with special knowledge of the Vietnamese situation have arrived for talks with the Canadian Government which is making a fresh effort to bring about a negotiated peace in Vietnam. Mr W. P. Bundy, United States Assistant Secretary of State responsible for Vietnam, flew from Washington, last night Observers linked the trip with the recent mission to Hanoi by a special Canadian envoy, Mr Chester Ronning, who returned on Sunday.

The British Disarmament Minister, Lord Chalfont who arrived yesterday from Lorn don, will probably meet the Prime Minister (Mr Pearson) and the External Affairs Minister (Mi Martin) today.
