The Secretary-General of the United Nations (U Thant) will go to Moscow before the start of the General Assembly session in September for his first official visit with the new Soviet leaders. U Thant accepted a Kremlin invitation for talks with the Communist Party leader (Mr Brezhnev) and the Prime Minister (Mr Kosygin). The dates of the visit will be announced later. U Thant last went to Moscow in July, 1964, when Mr Khrushchev was still in power. The announcement came 24 hours after the SecretaryGeneral had called again for acceptance of his three-point Vietnam peace plan.
