Converting To Taverns
(N.Z Frtit AuociationJ WELLINGTON. June 21. At least two Wellington hotels will cease accommodating travellers and continue business as taverns. They are the Brunswick and the Clyde Quay Hotels. Five others of 13 hotels reviewed by the Licensing Control Commission have said they are considering becoming taverns or have been advised to do so. The Commission has begun its first hotel-by-hotel review in Wellington since 1950.
