Rise In Profit Forecast (N.Z. Preu AMoeiaTton) AUCKLAND. June 20. Directors of the New Zealand Farmers* Fertiliser Company, Auckland, expect that the profit for the year ended May 31, will show a very satisfactory increase, they announced today. The output for the year rose by 8.5 per cent
Final dividend will be announced on July 4 and the unaudited profit figure not later than that date.
Group profit last year fell by 43 per cent to £243,160. Production then rose by 88,000 tons, or 15.2 per cent, to 664,000.
The company is currently making a one-tor-tour issue at a premium of 5s a 20s share.
This issue will raise £583,300. The rights came on the market today.
