Country Outing
On a bright winter morning recently the Ouruhia branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers chartered a bus and with members from Brooklands and Marshland spent a day in the country.
At the Glenmark sheep station they were met by the manager, shown over the old buildings and stables and told about its history. On the return journey they visited the Glenmark church, a gift from the first owner of the station.
