Combined Leagues

Members of all the city branches gathered for the Canterbury League of Mothers combined social evening in the Seventh Day Adventist Youth Centre. There was a large _ attendance and a bright varied programme. All branches contributed items, organised competitions or helped with the supper arrangements. During the evening the provincial secretary, Mrs A. Priiden thanked the retiring presidents and presented them wjth a small posy. The function was so popular thatmembers hope it will become an annual event
