Cambridge Canon’s Lectures

“Church and Holy Club” will be one of five lectures given by Canon Hugh Monteflore at the University of Canterbury from June 20 to 24. With the theme “Religion: true or false,” the series will be concerned in taking "a critical look at Christianity.” Canon Montefiore, who is the vicar of University Church, Cambridge, will also preach at two student services in Christchurch Cathedral on June 19 and 26. Coffee and discussion led by Mr J. Thornton of the university philosophy department, and the Rev. D. Wilson, university chaplain, will follow the student services.
