Overseas Investment
Sir, —Like R. Saxon and “F.N.F.” I should like to express my opinion at the report that a firm in America wishes to buy 60,000 acres of land in New Zealand. If the people, especially the farmers, allow the Government to ‘get away with” this, we are just a pack of fools and will have to start packing our bags immediately. It is the wickedest thing I have ever heard of, and only apathy will let them get away with it.—Yours, etc., R. DAVIS. June 14, 1966.
Mr A. G. Wilson, chairman of the Auckland Gas Company, has been re-elected chairman of the Gas Association.—(P.A.)
