Third Robbery At Jewellers
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. Display windows of Central Jewellers, Ltd., in Wellington, were shattered last night for the second time in 12 days. About 20 diamond and sapphire rings and two or three watches, worth £7OO, were stolen. It was the third theft from the shop in 11 weeks. The firm’s losses amount to £9300. Detectives have recovered £6300 of rings stolen on March 24. On Saturday, June 4, £2300 of rings was stolen.
