GUN CLUB TITLES
J. C. Streeter won the Christchurch Gun Club’s skeet championship, held in perfect conditions at Yaldhurst on Saturday. Streeter and C. Mclver were the only shooters in a field of 29 to return the possible of 25 breaks. In the shoot-off Streeter shot 24 and Mclver 22. The B Grade championship went to S. Glennie with a score of 23.
After holding the Christchurch Skeet Teams' Shield for many years, the Christchurch Club lost to Belfast in the competition held in conjunction with the championship. The successful Belfast team, with a score of 114 out of 125, war D. H. Nicholas. T. Everett, R. Hatfker. I. Ballinger and S. Glennie. The Amberley team was runner-up with 112.
Highest scores were J. C. Streeter and C. Mclver 25; J. Berry, T. Everett and C. C. Skinner 24; S. R. Marston, D. H. Nicholas, S. Glennie, W. T. Morton. J. Brtghtling and F. E. Kelly 23.
