In training yesterday afternoon he could only hobble around, but he put off a decision until after having treatment last night It would have been criminal if for any reason he had tried to play. The injured Lions wings, K. F. Savage and S. J. Watkins, both undertook light training yesterday. Watkins's hamstring injury is not very serious, although he has not fully tested it yet. Savage was found to have a displaced bone in his back, but this also is regarded as only • minor injury.
