(A’.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Coppripht) NEW ORLEANS. The World Boxing Association has withdrawn recognition of E. Griffith as world welter-weight champion because he tailed to defend it in conformity with W.B.A. rules. The association said that elimination matches to determine the title will be staged, with L. Rodrlguez, the top contender, meeting C. Cokes and S. Hayward fighting M. Gonzales.
