(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY. The Australian Jockey Club has increased the prize money for the three main races at the Randwick spring carnival by 30,000 dollars. The A.J.C. Derby, Epsom Handicap and Metropolitan Handicap have been lifted from 30,000 to 40,000 dollars.

The A.J.C. committee also approved an overall increase of 3600 dollars on open company races at the five meetings scheduled from August 1 to October 26.
