Two Injured On Roads
Mr K. J. Ball, care of Bumham Military Camp, suffered head injuries when he fall from a motor-cycle on the Main South road about a mile south of Templeton last evening. Mr Ball was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital where his condition was reported to be satisfactory. The accident happened about 6.30 p.m. lan Glover, aged 13, of Flat 1, 27 Linwood avenue, suffered shock and abrasions in a collision between his bicycle and a ear at the comer of Wainoni and Cuffs roads about 3.20 p.m. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital.
Messrs G. R. Burrowes and E. S. F. Holland, have been appointed trustees of the Canterbury Savings Bank.
