Man Killed Instantly (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 10. A man was killed instantly today when a car crushed him against the rear of a lorry on the Northern motorway. He was

Frederick Powell, aged 52, married, with six children, of Waitati.

Mr Powell was working behind a Ministry of Works lorry resealing a section of the motorway when the car struck him.

The driver, Janice Panting, aged 26, married, of Warrington, suffered a broken arm and cuts. Her two children, Sandra, aged li, and Fiona, 2J, suffered cuts and bruises. All were admitted to the Dunedin Hospital, where their condition tonight was satisfactory.
