OUTWARD BOUND
Air League’s Scholarship Brian Parker, aged 17, of 3 De Haviltand street, Christchurch, has been awarded the Air League’s Squadron Leader Lester Memorial Scholarship to Outward Bound. He will probably take the three-week course next Christmas holidays. He is a student at St. Thomas of Canterbury College, and is a corporal in the No. 17 Air Training Corps Squadron. He has his university entrance and has applied to take part in Volunteer Service Abroad next year. Then he intends to apply for the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s university officer cadet course.
