An appeal for funds would be made by the Christchurch branch of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament,, with a leaflet distributed from a stall outside the Chief Post Office tomorrow, said Mrs R. Plumridge, secretary of the branch. The stall would also display posters about the tests and possible effects of fall-out Tow For Dredge Arrangements are being made to have the Westminster Dredging Company’s dredge, Foremost Prince, towed from Napier to Lyttelton by the Nelson-based tug Mohala.
