Police May Know Soon (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 7. The police hope to have sufficient evidence soon to identify a decomposed human body found behind the Auckland Badminton Association hall in Gillies avenue, Epsom, last week.

They believe the body is that of the missing Devonport girl, Miss Lesley Margaret Soutter, aged 19, who was last seen alive on March 29. Identification will involve mainly pathological and analytical opinion, as well as a comparison of dental records with teeth from the body Investigators were still searching the general area where the body was found, laid the Chief Superintendent F. 0. Scott. He hoped an inquest could be opened within 10 to 14 days.
