Swedish women visiting Poland on package-deal abortion holidays might pose a threat to Sweden’s security, the security chief, Mr Otto Danielsson, said. He warned that the Polish security police knew all about Swedish women going to Poland for abortion, which is a crime in Sweden If performed without permission of the medical board.
“Naturally they will try to utilise this knowledge, perhaps with use of pressure they can persuade Swedish women to betray their country,” he added. Package-deal holidays to Poland—the price includes legal Polish abortions first became known last year when Hans Nestius, chairman of the Liberal Students' Club, publicly admitted arranging them. Proceedings against him were eventually dropped
