Hurricane Deaths

Caribbean islands today braced for fresh hurricanes after reports that 73 people died in a storm which virtually wiped out a town in Honduras.
Reports reaching the United States Weather Bureau here from Tegucigalpa, the Honduran capital, said the town of San Rafael in south-western Honduras, “had practically disappeared.”
