Lecture Series
To Begin
The principal of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute, Auckland (the Rev. D. Stewart), will be the first speaker today in a series of lectures organised by the Evangelical Union of Canterbury University. The purpose of the lectures was to examine the traditional belief of the Church in the light of current philosophical and theological thought, said the president of the Evangelical Union (Mr G. C. Court). Other speakers in the series will include the Rev. G. D. Inglis, who will speak on “Ethical problems of Christianity,” and Mr W. Malcolm, secretary of the Inter-varsity Fellowship (Wellington), whose subject will be “The Existential Cross.”
