Stolen
Men’s clothing valued at £ll4 18s was stolen from the premises of Arthur Telford, Ltd., at 826 Colombo street, during the week-end. A window was broken at the rear of the premises. Nothing was stolen when the premises of Supreme Industries, Ltd., at 241 Brougham street, were broken into during the week-end.
The premises of Naylor Wilson, Ltd, at 28 Mowbray street, were broken into during the week-end and £7 6s stolen. A window was forced open.
The premises of P. J. M. Naldus and Company, at 828 A Colombo street, were broken into between Friday evening and Sunday evening, and damage to the extent of £l4 was done. Entry was gained after a window at the rear of the premises was smashed.
Property valued at £lB 2s 6d was stolen from the premises of Bourke Shoe Service, at 828 Colombo street, during the week-end. A window was was broken to obtain entry. Nothing was stolen when the Sydenham Service Station, at 330 Colombo street, was broken into. Entry was gained by breaking glass in the front door.
A thief stole £2l from the bedrom of a house in Eversleigh street while the occupants were asleep on Sunday night. The house was entered by an unlocked door. A radio and blankets of a total value of £33 were stolen from a house in Lincoln road on Sunday night.
A shop at 455 Colombo street and a house in Purchase street were broken into on Sunday night, but nothing was stolen.
