Bowls Victory To Richmond

A Richmond Working Men’s Club team won the South Island working men’s clubs annual bowls tournament at the Christchurch W.M.C. green. The team beat a New Brighton side in the final. An entry of 106 fours was received for the tournament, which drew teams from Westport. Greymouth, Dunedin, and Timaru. The winning team was A. Walker, R. Ward, G. L. Young, and B. Duggan. The beaten finalIsts were T. W’. Dixon. J. Clegg, T Crisp and D. Heller.
