PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board called for that purpose and held at the oflice of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in the City of Christchurch on the twenty-second day of February, 1966, the said Board DID RESOLVE: THAT in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951, and by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1954, and of ail other powers it in that behalf enabling the CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD at a special meeting called for that purpose and held at the office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in the City of Christchurch. on the 22nd dav of February, 1966, DOTH RESOLVE by way of Special Order that in lieu of: (a) The special rates specified in the First Schedule hereto made and levied over that part of the Christchurch Drainage District being the special area described in Schedule B to a resolution of the Board dated the 17th day of April. 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April. 1923, as altered from time to time by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board under the provisions of Section 5 of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and Section 60 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951. and (b) The special rates specified in the Second Schedule hereto made and levied over that part of the Christchurch Drainage District being the special area described in Schedule C and in Schedule B to a resolution of the Board date the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April, 1923. as altered from time to time by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board under the provisions of Section 5 of the Christchurch District: Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and Section 60 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951. It DOTH HEREBY MAKE AND LEVY over the abovementioned parts of the said Christchurch Drainage District being the areas hereinbefore described a consolidated rate of such amount as will produce a sum not greater than the sum that would be produced by the Special Rates hereinbefore referred to if made and levied separately AND the said Board DOTH FURTHER DIRECT that the period for which the said consolidated rate shall be made and levied shall be that commencing on the Ist day of April, 1966, AND the said Board DOTH HEREBY RESOLVE that the proceeds of the consolidated rate herein made and levied shall be applied for the purposes of the above special rates in lieu of which the said consolidated rate is hereby made.
