Instructors Form Association
A Christchurch Driving Instructors' Association has been formed, with a membership of nine of the 25 instructors in the city.
A spokesman for the association said that the basic idea was to achieve uniform standards of instruction, and to encourage road safety. In due course, a code of ethics would be framed as a guide to members.
A similar association in Wellington was the only other similar group in New Zealand, he said. President of the association is Mr R. W. Fielding, with Mr V. F. Searle as secretarytreasurer, and Messrs G. E. Boyd and G. Wallace as committee members.
