Croquet Wins To Canterbury
Canterbury beat South Canterbury by seven matches to two in a senior croquet match. Canterbury also won the Intermediate, B and C grades and had an over-all advantage of 22 matches to eight.

Doubles: J. Hewitson and Mrs J. Paddy beat Mesdames J. McMillan and D. Hamilton, 26-9: Mrs E. O. Burgess and W. Joy beat M. Porter and Mrs .A. Boyd, 26-22; Mrs A. Mclnnes and G. Webb lost to Mesdames C. Bishop and A. McKinnon. 10-26. Singles: J. Hewitson beat Mrs McMillan. 26-15; Mrs Paddy beat Mrs Hamilton, 26-15; Mrs Burgess beat M. Porter, 26-20; W. Joy beat Mrs Boyd, 26-12; Mrs Mclnnes lost to Mrs Bishop, 10-26; G. Webb beat Mrs McKinnon, 26-17. Other results were:
Intermediate: Canterbury 6. South Canterbury 3. B Grade: Canterbury 3, South Canterbury 0. C Grade: Canterbury 6, South Canterbury 3.
