Thomson And Arda Lead

P. W. Thomson, of Australia and B. Arda, of the Philippines, shared the lead after the second round of the Malayan open golf tournament yesterday. Thomson, with a first round 67 and a second round 71, and Arda, 70-68, were both on 138.
The South African, H. Henning, was second on 139 after a second round 69. Other scores of Australian and New Zealand golfers’ were:
G. Parlow (Australia), 7275: R. R. Newdick (New Zealand), 74-73; S. Peach (Australia), 78-72; W. J. Godfrey (New Zealand), 73-81; R. Mesnil (Australia), 73-81; G. Donald (Australia), 78-76.
Tribute To Master.—Ships of the Holm Company will fly ensigns at half-mast as a tribute to Captain Albert Moko Moko, master of the Holmlea, who died at sea on Thursday
