TEMPERANCE FILMS

Ministers To See 10

All ministers of religion in the Canterbury area, and youth and community leaders have been invited to the New Zealand premiere of 10 films concerned with citizenship and alcohol to be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Century Theatre, Christchurch, by the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Alliance.

The film screening, which is also open to the public, is a “shop window” of the latest education aids available to assist ministers and others in their temperance work, said the president of the North Canterbury area (the Rev. P. D. Ramsay) yesterday. The 10 films and film strips have been collected from different parts of the world and will be available for hire throughout New Zealand.
