Worthy Chat’s Fine Levin Run

"The Press" Special Service LEVIN.

A likely double combination for Trentham tomorrow, worthy Chat and Jetmate, worked stylishly at Levin yesterday morning in their final trials.

Jetmate (N. E. Eastwood) started fast at the five, but was timed only over the final half mile of bis gallop on the outside of the course proper, which he covered in 49 l-ssec. The last three took 38sec. He put plenty of zest into his work all the way.

Worthy Chat <N. E. Eastwood) strode boldly over two rounds on the plough. He covered the final two furlongs in 26isec. Worthy Chat failed over two miles in the Chalmers Handicap ’ast week, but in the mile and a half President’s Handicap he should be much harder to beat.
